Mother turns off TV, child found still smiling
A local child mysteriously disappeared from his living room yesterday around 2 p.m. His mother went to find him in front of the TV, where he usually sits for hours and hours, and all that remained was an indentation in the couch.
Children’s laughter was reported from the backyard. When asked if she had any idea what could have happened to her son, she replied, “All I did was turn off the TV.”
Happily, her son returned indoors just before supper, looking as though he had been running around for hours with his friends. The boy was then heard telling his mother that he had so much fun, she could turn the TV off again tomorrow. This case is no longer being investigated.
